NX9 select single face or curve

NX9 select single face or curve

NX9 select single face or curve

(OP)
Hi,
I am having some trouble selecting individual faces or curves in NX9.
I have used "divide face" feature on a sheet, and want to sew each half of it to different sheets.
The problem with it is that when using sew and selecting sheets, it will not let me pick the halves separately. It treats it as one single face, even though I have "divided" it, and I can see the split line that was created.
Is there a special key combination that lets you select the halves separately? The same thing goes for curves...
Thanks.

RE: NX9 select single face or curve

Divide doesn't actually create two separate bodies. You could try doing a split body but I think that can't do it using curves. Other way is to extract each face then you'll have two sheet bodies to sew separately.

RE: NX9 select single face or curve

Make sure when selecting the face that "single face" is selected and not "tangent faces".
