This site has a real good video (about 20 minutes or so) on the effects expected from the Cascadia seduction zone earthquakes. It is produced by the Oregon State Department of Geology. Comical at times, but sobering others.

RE: Earthquake Preparedness

"Cascadia seduction zone" sounds dirtier than it really is.

When I am working on a problem, I never think about beauty but when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.

-R. Buckminster Fuller

RE: Earthquake Preparedness

I believe it is a subduction zone. Although seduction zones are certainly more fun.
