NX9 sketch constraint appearance

NX9 sketch constraint appearance

(OP)
Hey everyone,
I feel a little bit bugged about the way how sketch constraints show up. They seem to be located directly on the constrained entity.
There are two problems with this for me:
1) Since they actually cross the entity, it is very hard to understand what kind of constraint it is, the coloring doesn't help very much also.
2) If a constraint is placed on a very small entity, for example a point, then in many cases I find it impossible to select this entity, because the constraint symbol is actually bigger than the point itself. No matter how many times I click, I always select the constraint first so I have to go and turn off the constraint display, then select the point and do whatever I wished, then turn it back on.

Is there a way to change the display to something more similar to SolidWorks for example? In SolidWorks, constraints appear as little green squares just next to the corresponding entity. That makes the selection of both, constraints and entities a lot easier.
Thanks.

Preselection filtering will help with this issue - yeah, it's another mouse click or two, but it's about as good as it will get other than the delay (hover mouse, wait for the ... to appear) and then pick from the Quick Pick dialog that pops up after you click MB1.

Well if you don't want to wait for the "...delay (hover mouse, wait for the ... to appear) and then pick from the Quick Pick dialog...", go to Selection Preferences and toggle OFF the 'Quickpick on Delay' option. Now there is no need to ever having to wait, simply place your cursor over the objects-of-interest, hold-down MB1 for a half-second and the Quickpick dialog will pop-up.
