Are there any resources, code books, or guides on the design of support/restraint of large diameter (18in) and large thickness (>1.5in) pipe after cutting and during welding?

See the ITT Grinnell Industrial Piping, Inc. "Piping Design and Engineering". I have the fifth edition (1976), looks like the sixth edition (1981) is available online, for a reasonable fee. It focuses on applications such as high pressure steam piping and is considered to be the authoritative source on that subject. Here is the link:
