Dryer Booster Fan?

Dryer Booster Fan?

Dryer Booster Fan?

(OP)
I thought a typical residential type clothes dryer had a air flow of 150-200CFM. But the booster fans I have found look like they have a capacity of more like 100-150 CFM (Fantech).
Has anyone used a booster fan?

RE: Dryer Booster Fan?

airflow depends on pressuredrop and the fans should have a curve showing flow vs. pressure. Obvioulsy there are different size dryers and fans.

RE: Dryer Booster Fan?

Maybe fan tech is for residential dryers? And residential is less than commercial? (which is usually 220 cfm)

I use Exhausto, now called Enervex? But they are more commercial and better price point for multiple dryers. You can also try Tjernlund.

knowledge is power

RE: Dryer Booster Fan?

Get a fan curve for both to make sure they can operate in series. not a certain thing.

I had forgotten Exhausto. I'll check it out. But I am looking for the CFM for a single residential dryer.
