I have seem small vessel ( like filters) with  quick closure using only one screw pressing the head in the center, to seal the closure.
Question : is this system approved by ASME rules? If positive, where can I find details in ASME books?

RE: Small Vessel Quick Closure

Dear Degas,

I manufacture this type of filter and I can say that this type of closure does not comply with ASME code requirements (see parag. UG-35.2(b)(2).

Regards,

EKK
