Help with .igs file

NX 9

Hello,
I downloaded and imported an .igs file and no matter what view style I select (shaded, shaded with edges, partially shaded, etc) the model will only display as wireframe. Any suggestions on how to get the model to display as shaded?

The only other file format available for download for this model was a .sldprt. Can NX import .sldprt file types?

Thank you

Thank you,

RE: Help with .igs file

Are you sure that you have solids and/or surfaces and not just curves?

RE: Help with .igs file

Yes .sldprt files can be imported, you will probably have a better result with that.

Thanks guys. Yea the .sldprt worked. Had to import it into NX native, then export it as a parasolid. Then import that back into NX with Teamcenter. Thanks again.
