REACTION FORCES IN ANSYS EXPLICIT DYNAMICS

REACTION FORCES IN ANSYS EXPLICIT DYNAMICS

(OP)
Dear all

i am currently trying to do a simplified analysis of the dynamic crushing response of a hollow axial tube. For comparison purposes i need to record the energy absorbed against displacement, and for this need to find the nodal reaction forces experienced. Previous papers have done this using LS DYNA or ABAQUS but i have access to neither of these, only explicit dynamics. Could anyone guide me as to how i should go about finding these reaction forces. I will be forever indebted if you can..

Cheers and thanks

James Barrie
