Reference point issue

I'm trying to create a reference point on the intersection of a circle and an axis, see attached, is this possible?

RE: Reference point issue

Try creating a new 3D sketch and select the circle and axis as intersect - add a sketch point. If you can't select the axis directly you will need to create a plane along the axis and then add your point to that plane. Is the axis on the same plane as the circle?

RE: Reference point issue

Yeah the axis and circle are on the same plane

So apparently axes are not valid objects for creating a reference point from intersection.

Why I dont know but that's the case.
