How can I find ordinate origin symbol in NX9?

In this Case, How can I change the "Display Name Style"?

RE: How can I find ordinate origin symbol in NX9?

Just double-click any of the Ordinate dimensions and the 'origin' should display as a green handle with some arrows coming out from it. Simply select the green handle and then select the 'Settings' icon on the small 'toolbar' that opens when you select the handle. Once in the 'Settings' dialog select the 'Ordinate' item and you should be good to go.

Hi, how to select origin (in ordinate dimension) as intersection two centerlines?

Make sure that when you're asked to define the origin that you select the 'Two-curve Intersection' Snap Point methad, as shown below:

RE: How can I find ordinate origin symbol in NX9?

Hi it's me again smile

I have a drawing in NX7.5. This drawing file points to a imported Pro-E part. I made changes to the Pro-E file using the Move Face command - AWESOME!

Go to the drawing and for some reason all of my zero origin locations flipped on me. I looked high and low on how to re-establish a new origin point. I read this post, and others. When I double click on the zero origin dimensions I see no green handles, or anything that represents an origin. I tried EVERYTHING. I can re-associate the origin though all it does is move the dimension but does not reset the ordinate string. This is something that should be easy. Like Click on Zero Origin - reestablish new location - BAMMMMMM done.

Can anyone help me?

RE: How can I find ordinate origin symbol in NX9?

I clicked on the Origin Dimension Icon and all of the origins showed up. Clicked on Origin and said Move. It worked. Still could be a ton more easier to perform.

RE: How can I find ordinate origin symbol in NX9?

'Two-curve Intersection' Snap Point not work for select centerlines (for origin define). In NX 8.5 it was possible.

Ok, "two-curve Intersection" not found intersection, but classic "Intersection" snap point found this point.
