Pressure Reducing Regulator 525

Pressure Reducing Regulator 525

Pressure Reducing Regulator 525

(OP)
Hi All

Can you kindly advise if the bench range on a 525 regulator,2-10 PSI with a set pressure of 6 PSI,what would be the shut-off pressure on the regulator when the plug is touching the seat with a 3/8" travel?

I'm presently testing one of them and the shut-off pressure is not going any further than 6 PSI when close. Does the regulator needs to be shut-off at 10 PSI or 6 PSI?Please note I'm testing without any DP across the seat and ONLY 50 PSI through the inlet for seat leakage verification.

RE: Pressure Reducing Regulator 525

Your question is a bit unclear for me.

Shut off pressure? 3/8" inch travel and 'toching seat' give no information of thightness and/or leakage? Please explain.
