Can you please let me know any reference(code) for domestic water requirement per person for sizing the domestic water tank.

usage and storage requirements are not the same. there are a number of other factors that would influence the amount of storage you want. primary ones are fire, emergency and to handle peak flow times where your water production source cannot provide a high enough flow rate

This is one of many where similar information is contained, in one form or another.

I have seen similar information on documents from other regulatory bodies, water treatment design information, sewage treatment design information.
