Simulation of cooling in a material

Hi,

I want to simulate cooling in a model in ABAQUS. I want to simulate in such a way that the temperature is changing from 30C to -60C, and due that the change in temperature there will the stresses build up in my model. Can this be done in ABAQUS?

RE: Simulation of cooling in a material

Sure. You even don't need a thermal analysis when the temperature change is homogeneous for the body.

Thanks. I am new to abaqus. Any link or help to get started will be appreciated.

RE: Simulation of cooling in a material

In the Abaqus Documentation are two Getting Started Manuals.
One works directly with the input file and the other one is using A/CAE for model building.
