SUPPLY TUBES FROM - HRA WALL OUTLET HEADERS TO ROOF TUBE INLET HEADER
SUPPLY TUBES FROM - HRA WALL OUTLET HEADERS TO ROOF TUBE INLET HEADER
(OP)
The customer is saying to RT per code and give a reference to >750 degree F temperature and >2" NPS which is taken from B31.1.
The pipe material is 6 5/8" O.D X 1" M.W. I am saying that these supply lines are still under ASME Sec. 1 and do not need RT'd per code.
I checked PG 58.3.2 & 58.3.3 but I am unfamiliar as to actual start up of boilers regarding the steam seperation systems. I do not think these supply lines are part of that though.

I know it is difficult to see but on the right hand side - We are going to re-install the piping from the roof tube outlet header to the primary superheater. This would fall into B31.1 correct ?

- Boiler Proper – The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME BPVC) has total
administrative jurisdiction and technical responsibility (refer to Section I Preamble).
