Hi All,

I want to export selected solids from my assembly file to user entry directory. Any of you guys have the journal for this.

In the export window there should be a tab that says "DATA TO EXPORT" in the drop down change it to selected objects. then select you object in the graphics window. then go back to file and select a destination. at least that works for me. 2thumbsup

Got it but I have to export lot of assemblies to step format on individual solids. I though If I have journal that will help me to make it in less clicks

You can also use translator so You will only select parts You want and destination. Use start icon in windows, then proceed to all programs, then Siemens NX x.x and finally translators. You have to install java and set variable UGII_JAVA_HOME to place where You installed Java.

With best regards
Michael
