View To Model Error

View To Model Error

View To Model Error

(OP)
Has anyone experienced problems running View To Model on area filled/hatched artwork? We are experiencing issues on NX7.5 NX8.5 and NX9 where the fill either disappears randomly or randomly fills in the object completely after View To Model is ran. This is a process we run routinely in NX5 with no issues, see attachment for example.

RE: View To Model Error

Can't say I've seen it in relation to View to Model, but I know that a customer of ours saw a similar issue where the crosshatch would bleed out of the border or disappear when opening older (NX5) files.
In that case it turned out to be that 'Extracted Edges' was turned off for the view. Not sure it's the solution you're after but it's worth a try.
