wheel imbalance incorporation into a quarter car model
(OP)
Dear Members
I am trying to solve a problem of a quarter car ride model in which the problem of wheel imbalance is included. My problem( as evident in the attachment) is that I am not sure whether to consider wheel imbalance as a separate degree of freedom or incorporate it as an exciting force on sprung mass. the question is as follows:
by the given data, at which car speed the wheel imbalance causes the sprung body vibration to excite (wheel hop pattern)?
Please check the attachment and let me know if there is a closed form solution or any else way doing it.
please also forward your answers to my email at the following address:

many appreciations
