export displacment for nodes in femap????

(OP)
Hi, I try to export nodes after i defined them as group. I build a group of these nodes as picture below, and run analysis after choosing only this group to post out. My equation how could i see these nodes displacement after analysis??? and if i want to apply this displacement to only small rectangle alone without the big rectangle, is there a way for that???

RE: export displacment for nodes in femap????

Hi Leoeng82,
first of all there isn't any picture in your message.

For the displacements question, if you have choose the option "Print Only" or "Print and PostProcess" in the Results Destination you should have your displacements in the .f06.

Hi, Thanks for your answer and Idea. I appreciate your help. I haven't picture because i didn't know when i shall start with my question. I did what you did one week ago and I choose some nodes and defined as a group thereafter during analyzing export for only this group which gives me file f06 and f04. The problem how shall I import them= and use them?

RE: export displacment for nodes in femap????

Hi,

to import the results in Femap go to File / Import / Analysis Results then select your .op2 file from your Femap model directory and click OK.
List / Output / Results to Data Table. Select your Nodes and be sure that the data table is unlocked.

Hope this helps,
