Hi,
I draw 3D tubes, but for the bending proces I want to see on the outside of the tube, starting out of the quadrants of a circle, lines.

In 2D you can project a curve onto the tube, but does it also work in 3D and can it be done automaticly, because most of the time I receive the tubes in step

Try using the "isoparametric curve" command on the face(s) of the tube. This command can extract lines along the length of the tube.
