Dears,
Regard aci 318 Appendix D, when design the anchor bolts, you should check the concrete accordingly for pullout, prying, blowout, and
breakout, in my case shear and tension forces are so big 1600 kn,500 kn respectively, the bolt design (steel) is satisfied the loads, but the concrete area is not,and we constrained to the dimensions, so I provide a shear and tension reinforcement, as required by the code for full loads,
So should I Re check the concrete again,if yes what is the force of shear and tension I should apply to the concrete?

RE: ?tension rft. according to aci 318 Appendix D

This is the method that I've been using lately: Link.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

Kootk,
Thanks for interest,
Actually it is a helpful pdf,
And I know about it for long time ago,but it is so strange that nothing else talking about the same case, I searched the Internet so many times, only these pdf appearing to mE!
