I have the attached design for BGU's (all in parallel) but I cant work out how to practically wire a 4 core cable between the two BGU's. Can anyone offer some guidance please.

Thanks

RE: bgu design

Nothing attached. I've checked with two different browsers.

RE: bgu design

Ah, BGU is "Break Glass Unit". I couldn't derive that from the original post.

Not my area.

Standby for others to chime in.

I don't know what is worse:
TLAs or TLAs but I seem to have more trouble with Two Letter Acronyms than with TLAs.

TLA's often leave me SSU [ that's seriously screwed up, not Saybolt seconds universal] . . .

RE: bgu design

@Lc85 How are the BGUs supposed to operate? Your diagram is not understandable to me. Are the BGUs basically switches? Aren't they just wired in series?

IRstuff,
The BGU's are wired in parallel. My question was just about the wiring between two break glass units as I am not sure that the BGU's will have enough terminals.

Thanks

RE: bgu design

?? Are you sure? That seems different that how other people do it: http://www.lopol.org/article/fire-alarm-system-int...
