Can anyone tell me what might cause Solidworks to run right and next time not run at all.  I got an memory error message then it quit running.

How long does SolidWorks run without crashing after you reboot and have no other apps running? I reboot once a day because of issues like yours.

Well I figured out that there was a problem with the installation of Solidworks.  After uninstalling it rebooting then reinstalling it my problem is solved.  I think so anyway.  I have run Solidworks several times without it crashing.

One thing I did do was disable shodow pointer and disable "Use transition effect for menus and tooltips".  These were suggestions from www.solidworks.com.

conniem,
Did you remember to install SolidWorks with your Virus protection off?

Yes I did.  I found out that when I run Solidworks locally it runs just fine.  But when we use Timbuktu to access it remotely is when it messes up.  We were using a Matrox video card and I did check the site at Solidworks and they talked about Matrox being tested.  Our driver was newer than the one they tested.  We loaded the last tested driver but still had the same problem.  We are changing to a Wildcat video card.  We hope that solved our problem.
