Bentley Leap Bridge as BIM Modeling tool

Bentley Leap Bridge as BIM Modeling tool

Bentley Leap Bridge as BIM Modeling tool

(OP)
Hi,

I am currently reviewing multiple bridge BIM modeling tools for procurement purposes. As far, the best packages seems to be Revit Structures and Tekla structures, but I have also received queries from my management regarding Bentley's Leap Bridge and I was wondering if anybody could give me any advise regarding the use of this software as a BIM modeling tool (i.e. Not as an Analytical Modeling / Structural design tool).

The majority of the bridges we work with are cast-in place, PT, concrete box girders, so therefore the BIM tool would have to be able to easily model complex concrete and reinforcement geometries.

I would appreciate any feedback and/or advise regarding the capabilities and restrictions of Leap bridge in this regards.

Best Regards,

Jack
