Hello Everyone.. I have a problem for the space frame direct stiffness method .. If one of the beam is pinned at one end(eg. @ local y axis only), does this mean that the stiffness matrix of this beam would be written differently from other beam elements..

I am currently making a software and I tried to make some modifications on the stiffness matrix for the beam that is pined at one end.. it seemed to work.. but I would like to make sure if my solution is correct..because there may be a better way. wink
