EI Training

(OP)
I passed the Florida PE years ago, but never passed the EI exam so I could get my license. With my work schedule and personal life, I have little time nor money to go back to complete my degree, then take the EI again. Does anyone have a school, or refresher course that will train me in taking the EI for Florida? It would be nice if it was an online course.

RE: EI Training

If your PE is active and in good standing why do you need to take the EIT? Did I miss something?

RE: EI Training

Achieving EI or EIT status signals that you have mastered the fundamental requirements and is usually taken as the first step – toward earning your PE licensure.

Maybe he needs reciprocity somewhere?

RE: EI Training

Maybe you meant to put that you passed your EIT but never your PE to get your license?

RE: EI Training

If you take the PE and FE exams at the same time, it is possible to pass the PE but fail the FE. That is likely here. Florida will not license you unless both are passed. Even though he passed the PE, he is not licensed in Florida.....thus the question.

taco....there are several courses online for EI exam review. Check the NCEES website...I believe there are links. Good luck.
