CATIA check if a selection is empty

CATIA check if a selection is empty

(OP)
Hi there !

I'm using an InputBox to search a plane in my Tree,

Problem is I don't want to do anything before I'm sure that plane exists

Is there a function or something to test if the Plane exists or not ?

thanks

Ok I found something working using the .count of selection

CODE -->

Do While Nom = False

namer = Inputbox("First, please make sure that you activated the DSE licence for CATIA (Tools/Option/General/Shareable Products), then, Please enter the EXACT name of the Point Cloud you want to divide.")

oSelection.Search "Name=" & namer

If (oSelection.count = 0) then

x=msgbox("The Entity you are looking for does not exist" ,48, "Wrong Input")

Nom = False

oSelection.Clear

Else

Nom = True

oSelection.Clear

End If

Loop
