Opening NX 8.0 Drawing in 9.0

Opening NX 8.0 Drawing in 9.0

Opening NX 8.0 Drawing in 9.0

(OP)
All,

When opening a Drawing that was created in NX 8.0 in NX 9.0, I'm having multiple view failures. The section views will not update because their lines lost their associativity, the general views are displaying hidden lines as solid and are not modifyable, nothing in the general views is selectable by the annotation commands.

Anybody else experience this? Any solutions?

Thank you!

Andrew

RE: Opening NX 8.0 Drawing in 9.0

If this is a Master Model drawing where it's actually a single-level assembly, are you sure that the Master Model is opening as well as the Drawing? It might appear to be there if you were using extracted edges in your Drawing views but yet the part may not have been opened, although you should have gotten a warning to that effect when you opened the Drawing file.
