CPSET in CLEARENCE command

CPSET in CLEARENCE command

(OP)
Hi all,

I am trying to do the simulation of lying a 3D tire model lying on the road horizontally and adding load on its sidewall to see its deformation. However I think there is a contact problem in my simulation. When I run the analysis, the analysis did not complete and it showed an error is the msg file. The error is "TOO MANY ATTEMPTS MADE FOR THIS INCREMENT". It also showed a warning as " CONTACT PAIR (SIDEWALL-DOWN,SROAD_2) NODE 97752 IS OVERCLOSED BY 9.04135 WHICH IS TOO SEVERE."
I did some research in documentation, I found that the following two statement may help to solve the error, therefore I hope someone can help me to have a look if these commands can solve my problem:

the first one:
*CLEARANCE, CPSET=cpset_name, TABULAR, However, for this command, I do not know what I should type for cpset_name and

for the second one Ido not know what I should type in amplitude since there is no amplitude in my current input file:
*CONTACT PAIR, ADJUST=a
slave_surface, master_surface
*AMPLITUDE, NAME=amplitude_name
*CONTACT INTERFERENCE, AMPLITUDE=amplitude_name
slave_surface, master_surface,v

Could anyone please tell me how to solve my problems?
Thank you very much.

Best Regards,
JC
