MDT6.0 AND ORDINATE DIMENSIONING

(OP)
I can do ordinate dimensions in MDT6.0 to all visible edges/lines etc. Ordinate dimension to a hidden edge/line does not show up. Ordinate Dimension to a center line of a hidden feature shows up though. Does any one know what switch to turn on to make ordinete dimentions of hidden lines appear?
Thanks in advance to all members of this forum.

RE: MDT6.0 AND ORDINATE DIMENSIONING

This is from an earlier post but it may apply. I do not have MDT but we do have Mechanical 6. It may be similar.

There is a setting in Mechanical to filter out certain entities from being selected. To set the filters off, (BTW, I am working with MECHANICAL 6, but I think it is similar) select from the ASSIST >> DRAFTING SETTINGS >> POWER SNAP SETTINGS 1-4. Notice the FIlTERS box to the lower left. This contain a list of object types to filter out. Make sure that DIMENSIONS is unchecked. I hope this helps.
