Properties in Drawing Table

Properties in Drawing Table

(OP)
Hello,

I´m new with Catia and I have no idea how to programm with this software.

I want that the properties that I added on my part (Material, Part Number...) appear in the Table of the drawing that corresponds to the part without having to fill this fields again, but that they appear from them selves.

I have already look for this and I had some suggestions from some codes that someone gave. My problem is that I don´t know where and how to use this codes. I am able to program Visual Basics, but in Catia I don´t know where to start. Acctualy I will be just using it for this Table so I would not like to spend too much time in learning how to program, but maybe for this it will be neccesary.. I would really appriciate to know how to make the first steps for using this codes in Catia for the edition of the table from the drawing, or if someone could recomend me how to learn this catia programation.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,
Francisco

@ednagc2002
After you create text (or text in a table) right click in the text box and select attribute link and select the top level of the drawing. See if part number or material is in the list of parameters you can link it to. Otherwise you might need to copy and paste with link the parameter from the part to the drawing.
