what end type is this

what end type is this

RE: what end type is this

Best guess is that stands for Extended Buttweld end. Very common for a small diameter forged ball valve like that, to have "integrated" pipe nipples, forged directly with the valve ends. This moves the heat source from field welding away from the body and seat seals, and prevents damage during installation.

I bet if you peel back some more insulation, you'll see the valve is butt weld end, and the weld is 6" (150 mm) or so from the valve body.

Valvit

RE: what end type is this

Could also be Extended Bonnet as used for cryogenic valves.

RE: what end type is this

The stallone catalogue - just search for it- shows different end s, but not eb. It does however have extended bonnet for insulation, which seems a good connection to this valve.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

RE: what end type is this

(OP)
I think the both extended bonnet and extended butt welding seems to be right but extended point is more correct because of the insulation as the temprature at tgis area reach -40 an below thanks guys for your help

RE: what end type is this

please, submit a picture of the end so is better to identify the real end. EB is normally for extended bonnet. for the weld end on a 1" is common have BW, SW or PE

RE: what end type is this

yea ,subimt a picture of the end
maybe flange end

EB = END BLOCK, decribing that the valve is a valve where different ends can be mounted (Fastened by screws) to the main body block,eg. for instance threaded or welded ends at different lengths and shapes etc???? (No general standard seems to cover the abbreviaation EB. The abbreviation EB has at least 611 different genereal meanings, listede in abbreviation lexicons).
