Hello Dave ,
Thanks for your reply. Could i know Dynamic loading calculation formula and method for Conveyors?

Thanks
John

RE: Conveyor Analysis

I struggle to think of a response that could help. The best I can suggest is to hire a professional engineer to review the design.

RE: Conveyor Analysis

Hi

Please read your first post and ask yourself how you would supply formula for something you cannot see or even begin to know what it looks like, what the loadings might be due the number and size of motors, rollers, material conveyed etc.
Once you think about that it might explain why you have very few unhelpful answers.

RE: Conveyor Analysis

I would advise you consult a good reference book. You can't go far wrong with the Belt Conveyors for Bulk Materials by CEMA. As you have not specified the loads or the duty of your conveyor you'll find an answer to all the calculations for your requirement there. (as long as it is not really light duty)

Bear in mind that the conveyor design tends to be a specialised topic within engineering so getting anything you do checked out by a professional from that industry would be good.

ISBN for the book is 1-891171.44.5 Good luck!

Robert.
