Water-tight floor boxes

(OP)
Dear All,

I wondering if is it required by NFPA 70 (NEC) to have all floor boxes water-tight? or it depends on the location of installation!! If so, shall I place water-tight floor boxes in public spaces of marble floor like those used in the terminal buildings?

On the other hand, are there any tips regarding the usage of metallic and non-metallic floor boxes in accordance to NFPA 70 (NEC?
