fabric shade compliance to IBC Table1604.3 HELP

(OP)
I am helping a fabric shade fabricator and with new wind load compliance per IBC 2012/ASCE 7-10 a client has asked us to also comply with IBC table 1604.3 to the extent of the relative structure, my question is how do I treat the fabric shade material, the fabric is installed via tension cables to provide the sail shape but by being a fabric it would deflect much more than any code limit, has any of you have some recent experience as to how to treat this issue against deflection restriction??
