Question about the joint of Eden Project
(OP)
Hi guys, can anyone tell me what the pointy thing in the joint of Eden Project does? And the function of the holes around the joint.
Many thanks.
When was the last time you drove down the highway without seeing a commercial truck hauling goods?

RE: Question about the joint of Eden Project
The pointy thing anchors a skin element, not yet applied.
The rectangular holes in the struts are clearance for a wrench, used to tighten a fastener between the strut end and the node connector.
Next time you're that close, stick a camera in the hole.
