Sizing Smoke Exhaust Fan.

Sizing Smoke Exhaust Fan.

(OP)
First time doing the smoke exhaust. Should I base on the air change? If that is the case, how many air change should I use?
Someone, please give me your advice. Thanks in advance

RE: Sizing Smoke Exhaust Fan.

what is your application and what kind of smoke did you mean?

RE: Sizing Smoke Exhaust Fan.

Smoke control is not based in ACH, it is based on smoke volume, smoke movement, fire size, etc. Varies in different situations and application you are dealing with.

You can refer to building codes, mechanical codes, or NFPA standards.
