How to open more number of part files at a time in NX.

Nx allows me to open one part at a time but i need to open number of files for checking drafting..

Can any one Help me...

RE: Open Number of Part Files

What version of NX are you running?
What graphics acrd does your computer have?
How much memory does your comuter have?

NX allows you to open multiple files of any type as long as there is sufficient memory in the computer to hold the data and the graphics card has enough meory to store and manipulate the images.

When you open an assembly file you can have hundreds or thousands of files 'open'. I have opened assemby drawings with 8500 parts in the assembly in NX.

RE: Open Number of Part Files

I think he's talking about having more than one file visible on the screen at the same time, so he wouldn't have to keep switching windows to compare parts or whatever. I'm pretty sure that's not possible in NX.

RE: Open Number of Part Files

You cannot do a split screen with multiple files in a single session of NX.

You can run multiple sessions of NX on multiple monitors (or even one, if large enough) to do drawing/assembly view comparisons.
