SHOP DRAWINGS

Does anyone know what (W.T.S.) would stand for on a shop drawing of a diagonal brace with bolted angle connections?

RE: SHOP DRAWINGS

Probably the quickest solution would be to call the fabricator and ask.

RE: SHOP DRAWINGS

Ask and ye shall conceve perceive.

RE: SHOP DRAWINGS

Welded Tubular Steel. Water Tight Scuttle. Weights. If it's the weights of watertight scuttles made of welded tubular steel, then it'd be a wtswtswts.

RE: SHOP DRAWINGS

I don't recall W.T.S, however, I've used W.T.F.on many shop drawings.

RE: SHOP DRAWINGS

MIL-STD-1111 is helpful.

I did ask the fabricator. And all you comedians lose...LOL
It means Wired To Ship...
Thanks all! :)

RE: SHOP DRAWINGS

So if it you mean to say the weights of watertight scuttles made from welded tubular steel that are wired to ship, then you mean "wtswtswtswts".
