Is there a way of changing the f8 view? If I have a new wcs I want to view it by pressing f8 but this always seems to rotate to the original or world wcs there must be a way to reference to the new wcs?

Thank you.

Regards Daniel Lamb

RE: wcs view

I doubt that is is possible to change the "Snap view Action", You can most probably map the "F8" to something different.
There is a command "Set View to Wcs" which does what i guess that you are looking for. ( In NX8.5 : View - Operation - Set View to Wcs.)

Regards,
Tomas

RE: wcs view

The 'F8' function is not based on the WCS. It's designed to either snap to the closest of the 6 standard Orthographic views or normal to any selected Datum Plane or planar face.

RE: wcs view

If you have a Spaceball you may have the option to assign one of the buttons on it to orient view to WCS.
