Can't open a file from TeamCenter...please help.

(OP)
We recently upgraded to TC 10 and NX 9. Prior to the upgrade I could double click a file (model or drawing) in TC and open it in NX. Now, with the upgrade, when I try to open a file from with in TC I get an error message. See attachment.
Please help. Thank you!

Thank you,
Trent

RE: Can't open a file from TeamCenter...please help.

The link is not working, but out of my head, you need to go to Edit - Options... - in the left column you will find NX then check the "Open in NX YES' check button. Apply or OK.

Could solve you're problem.

Best regards,

Michaël.

RE: Can't open a file from TeamCenter...please help.

Trent,

The problem appears to be "prior to NX launch" related to the FCC not running or able to start.

In a command shell test to see that FMS_HOME is defined and resolves correctly. If it does then check to see if the FCC can be started explicitly with "%FMS_HOME\start_tccs". If not, the error messages should help point to the next suspect.

This could also be Java related and just require setting system env var to resolve the jre location.

HTH,
Joe
