SFPE Hanbook of Fire Protection Engineering

SFPE Hanbook of Fire Protection Engineering

RE: SFPE Hanbook of Fire Protection Engineering

I suspect that SFPE, being a small organization, doesn't want the potential of loosing intellectual property by selling it as electronic media. It's not available in such a form on their website.

The positive part for you as an owner is that your dominant hand and arm get a great workout moving the book from the shelf to the desk and back to the shelf.

RE: SFPE Hanbook of Fire Protection Engineering

I don't think Travis needs any more workout...
TMack could send a pic of himself to problem AHJs with his complaint and they would say "Yes Sir."

(OP)
That is what I was wondering about the SFPE. I didn't see it on their site, but didn't know if other outlets sold the version in PDF.

Matt: That is quite funny. I do get odd looks when I show up to some meetings with people the first time. They don't expect a "body builder" to show up to the meetings. profile smiley

RE: SFPE Hanbook of Fire Protection Engineering

Just buy it in print, then send it to http://www.blueleaf-book-scanning.com/convert_book...
which is a book scanning service, they'll destroy the hard copy, and send you the PDF
You can run OCR in acrobat, so that it's fully searchable text. You can also add a Table of Contents quickly using regular expressions, or do it by hand. I did this for several books that aren't sold as PDFs, it works.
