Defining Helix pitch as equal distance ALONG the size law curve?
Defining Helix pitch as equal distance ALONG the size law curve?
(OP)
Hello,
How should I create a helix with a variable pitch which is defined as equal distance along the law curve which defines the size of the helix? See attached image for clarification.
The image on the right has points along the law curve which is created with a Pattern Geometry feature. Another way to put the question, is there a way to have the helix "pass through" these points? The curve which acts as the law curve for the size of the helix is a freeform spline, no math involved.
Thanks.

I had an idea for it today, but I won't go so far as to call it a "good" idea...
