Does NX 8.5 use Java extensively?
I am using NX8.5 on a Win7 computer and every morning when I log on, I get a notice to update Java.
I cannot update because I don't have the rights and the IT guy says not to worry about it.
Do I need to worry?
Thanks.

Brad

RE: Java

The two places where JAVA is used the most within NX is when you're using the Product Template Studio module and when doing searches in the NX Help files. There may be some other places, but these two are the ones that I'm sure about.

Thank you John.
I appreciate the feed back.

RE: Java

Don't forget the external translators use Java as well.
