guass to relative force information
guass to relative force information
(OP)
hello all I am new to this board but i am looking for any information anyone has on converting gauss to relative force measurements for repulsion effects of ceramic magnetic meterials. I know there isnt much published on this so any information you may have stumbled apon or learned would be greatly appriciated
thank you all for your time i shall see you all around.

RE: guass to relative force information
Or B*dB/dX
If you have no gradient you have a field which would flocculate particles to each other quite well but not move them in any particular direction.
Can you describe your project any further?
RE: guass to relative force information
sorry took so long to reply i have been very busy. The reason why i need to know this is for a form of magnetic bearing useing ceramic magnetics (so as not to induce a current in the magnetics and cause drag) so i am trying to figure the guass needed to support the weight properly without overdoing it or having to do so with trial and error because of the cost of the magnetic materials.
Any info you have that can help me with that will be great the subject isnt well covered and i have been having a hard time finding any info on it.
