Need to show permanent mesh on datum surfaces

Need to show permanent mesh on datum surfaces

Need to show permanent mesh on datum surfaces

(OP)
I need help. I want to take one datum surface out of 9 and have that one surface show a mesh (at all times) say 5x6. I can put a temporary mesh on it but it goes away when I repaint. If my memory is write, I have seen this done before.  Thanks texaspete

RE: Need to show permanent mesh on datum surfaces

The only way i can think of is to project datum curves (perp. to sketch plane) onto the surface.
hope this helps.

RE: Need to show permanent mesh on datum surfaces

I think you can also create a cosmetic feature as a mesh.
