boiler eff using direct method

(OP)
Hi,

Can anyone show increase in boiler efficiency using the direct method (output/input) when installing an economizer?

Lets say feedwater temp is without an economizer is around 32C. Installing an economizer would increase it to 50 C (just numbers)
and saturated steam temp is 190 C.

When applying the enthalpy on the output part of the equation and considering the input is constant, I cannot see the increase in efficiency or maybe there is some missing information.

Thanks
