Modelling Multi Panel Slab Concrete with Shell Element

Modelling Multi Panel Slab Concrete with Shell Element

hi guys, seems that i need all of your help

im on my study in finishing my under graduate final project. my study is about concrete slab element moment in multi panel. the panel that i modelled is like this

http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=b...

beside that, i modelled it with patterned load for maximum positive moment like this image below

http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=4...

the BC that i applied in the all edge, is encastre, then i connected every panel with tie constraint. beside that, i boundary condition in every panel to panel connection with U1,U2,U3, and R2 applied.
the problem is, there a moment in mid spand with negative value like this pic. i marked it with red circle

http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=7...

can everyone help me to figure out this? just got stress over last one month :) thanks in advance

anyone can assist me?

RE: Modelling Multi Panel Slab Concrete with Shell Element

Seems like the BC is missing on these two edges. Check that BCs are not ignored, when these nodes are slave within the tie constraint. Check .dat for warnings and check in postprocessing if the BC is used by the solver. There is an option to display icons of BC in postprocessing.
