Hide components in Drafting view

How would I hide a component in a view in drafting mode?
I need to not show a component that is part of an assembly.
I am using NX 7.5
Thanks,

Cowski,
Your solution does work. But there is another issue that is related.
The view that I need to hide a component is a half scale view of original full size
front view of assembly. When I hide the selected component in the half scale
view it also hides the same component in the full size view.
Any way around this?
Thanks

RE: Hide components in Drafting view

The command can hide the component in one or more views, are you sure you only had the one view selected when you hit "OK"?
Try using the "show component in view" on the view where you want to see the component.

Cowski,
Yes, you were right. Somehow I had 2 views selected. Everything works perfectly now.
Thank you so much!

RE: Hide components in Drafting view

You can also use layers. Than use command layer->visible in view
