Measure distance in a assembly

Measure distance in a assembly

Measure distance in a assembly

(OP)
When I try to measure a distance between two objects in a assembly with my measure distance tool I can only select one solid because this is the work part but not the other solid? Is there away around this or am I using the wrong measuring tool?

RE: Measure distance in a assembly

Make sure your selection scope is set to entire assembly not work part only

While in the measure distance command, make sure you selection scope is set to "entire assembly".
