NX requirements

(OP)
Hi,
I am using NX7.5 and trying to create design validation rule. I have a complex machined part which has many individual holes. I am trying to create a requirement that will check that all of the holes are from a specific range of preferred hole sizes without referencing any of the holes directly to the requirement.

Ie. press a button, do all holes in the model conform to a value in the range. So that the model checker (another person) doesn't need to check every single hole as there are lots of them

Is this possible, if so any examples anywhere?

Thanks in advance

RE: NX requirements

NXJockey:

The "DFM Pro" tools for NX (created by Geometric, Inc., and sold by Siemens PLM) incorporate this specific check out-of-the-box, along with a bunch of other checks relevant to machined parts (and other sets of checks for cast parts, and molded parts, and turned parts, etc.) The DFM Pro checks are all delivered into NX using the Check-Mate framework, which leverages our HD3D display for results.

Talk to your local sales rep and have them set up a demo for you. smile
